Survey: Housing Weak Long-Term

A June housing survey by Reuters and the University of Michigan indicates that consumers now anticipate a longer housing slump than in previous polls. Survey director Richard Curtin says the number of consumers who believe that many of the homes on the market are reasonably priced has reached an all-time high. However, he points out that the number of consumers who do not want to sell their properties at such discounts also has hit record heights.
